Error message

The cleaning products used for the maintenance of doors and windows must be adapted to the materials they are made of. 

For the FENBEC guarantee to be valid, the air humidity in your dwelling must be controlled. The following table* presents the interior relative humidity and exterior temperatures associated to good control:

Moreover, many actions can be taken to maintain your windows properly: 

  • Harware must be lubricated twice a year with a silicon-based lubricant.
  • Glass must be cleaned with a soft cloth and a product formulated for that purpose. 
  • When cleaning aluminum or uPVC, use a soft soap. Don't use abrasive products or products that contain ammonia.
  • Screens can be removed for easy cleaning of both screens and window panes.
  • FENBEC hung windows are easy to clean, thanks to their tilting operating sashes. The sashes must not be removed from the windows as it may cause damage.
